Gary Rowland, a blood line of chief Red Cloud, presented information on the Wounded Knee Massacre. It was a very rich in information about the history of Wounded Knee. Gary talked in a manner that I never experienced before slow and cyclical. He did eventually get to a point. The point he eventually ended with was that you can do anything you want as long as you put the effort and mind to it. It was interesting to here about how the Indian culture is very family oriented. Listening to Gary speak about the elderly made me believe that they were the wise and were treated with the upmost respect. The Indian culture is quite fascinating. People should respect their culture and learn from it.
